- Create illustrations for a story called “the three tasks”.

- Create the books formatting and layout.

- Cover needs to be striking and demand attention on a shelf.

- Target Audience is young adult/teenagers.

- With the book already written and facing edits. I worked to create and visualize key scenes and moments into as much of a dynamic and impactful image as I could. I tried to create some symbolism with every illustration so that it emphasized each event.

- The style of the book’s outcome was inspired by three different sources. The illustrations were inspired by manga books and my love for ink and water colour based paintings. The other source was from children’s books(specifically David Walliams, Lemony Snicket, Holly Black, and Tony DiTerlizzi). I showed these books to Richard Gallacher, and he loved this direction and encouraged it.
